RespiraCleanse® contains ginger, which is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as an expectorant and anti-tussive to help relieve bronchitis, as well as coughs.
RespiraCleanse® consists of eight herbs chosen for their ability to treat bronchial conditions, as well as coughs and colds. Ginger root is the lead ingredient and has been used medicinally with great benefit for thousands of years in a broad range of cultures and civilizations as an expectorant (a remedy that promotes the drainage of mucus from the lungs and respiratory tract) and anti-tussive (a remedy that relieves or suppresses coughs).
St. Francis Herb Farm uses either certified organic or wildcrafted herbs in our RespiraCleanse® herbal formula.
Available sizes: 50ml, 100ml, 250ml and larger sizes for Health Professionals.
A strikingly elegant member of the sunflower family, elecampane is native to Europe and Asia. Its Latin name, Inula helenium, is a reference to Helen of Troy, whose tears, as they fell to the ground, are said to have turned into the plant. The Celts considered elecampane sacred and called it "elfwort."
A large tuberous perennial with yellow blossoms and narrow green leaves that stands about a metre high, ginger has its origins in southern Asia, but can now be found in nearly all tropical and subtropical countries.
Now naturalized in North America, marshmallow is a perennial original to Europe and grows, as its name indicates, in damp, marshy places. With roots that are rich in soothing mucilage, it has been used for thousands of years as a medicinal herb.
A tall plant with a stem that rises to a spike characterized by small yellow flowers, mullein grows in well-lit, disturbed soils throughout the temperate zones of Europe and Asia, as well as North America.
An unassuming perennial that lies low to the ground, plantain is a herb that occurs worldwide and has been used medicinally since Greek and Roman times, with reference being made to it by Chaucer in the Middle Ages.
A perennial herb and fixer of nitrogen, characterized by its distinctive pink blossoms, red clover grows abundantly on meadowland where the soil is light and sandy throughout Europe and Asia, as well as the Americas.
