Cleavers

Cleavers

Cleavers has tiny star-shaped flowers which bloom in early spring and summer.

This creeping annual has small hooked hairs on its stem and leaves, which are used to attach themselves as they creep. It is considered a noxious weed because of its invasiveness. We see it as more than just an interesting weed, but as powerful plant medicine!

Cleavers has many herbal uses including:
- For treatment of skin wounds, bites and stings
- As a diuretic
- As a lymphatic system aid
